01

Before you download

A Mac is required whenever you set or change a location. GeoShift is not an iPhone- or iPad-only app.

Built for development, testing and privacy workflows. It is not designed for AR games or bypassing anti-cheat systems.

Location changes happen directly between your Mac and your iPhone or iPad. No location is uploaded to NeonCore.

02

Three steps. One source of truth.

01

Connect and unlock your iPhone or iPad

02

Search, click the map or enter coordinates

03

Set, update or restore whenever you choose

03

Connect your device

Your Mac sets the GPS. Use one of these local connections when you set or change a location.

USB cable — required for first-time pairing and the most reliable option. Use a data cable and keep the device unlocked.

Same local network — after pairing, GeoShift can reconnect over Wi-Fi when the Mac and device are on the same network. A wired Mac is fine.

Personal hotspot — connect the Mac to the iPhone or iPad hotspot when no shared Wi-Fi is available.

04

Going out without your Mac

An active location can stay fixed after the connection ends. While it is active, turn off Developer Mode in Settings › Privacy & Security › Developer Mode before disconnecting.

The location is then locked. To choose another place, turn Developer Mode back on, restart the device, and reconnect it to your Mac.

05

Know the boundaries

GeoShift communicates directly over USB or your local network. It does not remotely control a device over the internet.

GeoShift changes the device GPS location, not its public IP address. Use a VPN when the IP region also needs to match.

FAQ

Does GeoShift need a jailbreak?

No. GeoShift uses Apple's developer location simulation over a trusted device connection.
